Shawna has established herself during the past fifteen years as one of the premier real estate brokers in Big Sky. She has achieved extraordinary success through hard work and devotion to her clients and craft, culminating in the recent opening of her own real estate brokerage company in Big Sky. She hails from Florida and arrived in Montana after brief stints in New York City and Los Angeles where she had been pursuing her passion for acting and the theatre. She visited Big Sky for a ski vacation in 1992 and returned the following summer intending to stay only for a few months and never left! Shawna has three delightful daughters. She is a Les Mills Body Pump instructor, avid skier and an overall health enthusiast. She is a member of the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and also devotes considerable time to the many charitable organizations throughout the greater Bozeman and Big Sky area.
Lynn and her husband Bob vacationed in Big Sky in 1988 and fell in love with the area. They moved to Big Sky in 1990 at which time she obtained her real estate license. Lynn’s goals are to assist her clients in finding their Montana dream property and guide them through the purchase and sale process, while making that experience as smooth and easy as possible. Honesty with her clients and protecting their interests and privacy is a priority. Lynn looks forward to showing you the gorgeous real estate that Montana has to offer.

Aimee Andren Gerharter was born in Bozeman and grew up in Billings. After spending her 20′s as a social worker (BSW from New Mexico State U) she got into the furniture business in Billings and Bozeman (Hart’s and Slumberland). In 2006 she opened Wild Joe’s Coffee in Bozeman downtown and then another one in the Bozeman public library. After selling both in 2010 she decided to get into real estate. Investing and watching the ups and downs of the real estate market was always intriguing to Aimee, and she spent so much free time researching opportunities that I finally decided to get my license and help other people realize their Montana real estate opportunities. Montana is the only place she wants to live, and she loves every acre of it. “It really is a magical place, with the most amazing people on earth”, and she am dedicated to helping other people enjoy all Montana has to offer.
Lara Hobby, born in California and raised in South Carolina, has been working with the public for over 15 years. She and her husband started a landscape company in 1997 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and along with their two children moved to Big Sky in 2004. Lara has a degree in Advertising and Public Relations and actively works as the Director of Marketing and Sales for her family corporation. After many years of watching the real estate market and participating as a buyer and a seller, has decided to expand her knowledge and share her skills by eagerly joining the real estate industry.
Outside the office, Lara enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, hiking, golfing and playing tennis, taking every opportunity to revel in the outdoors of Montana.
I grew up in central Maine and continue to enjoy that area quite a bit, visiting several times a year. I graduated from the University of Vermont in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. While in college I began working for a master carpenter, building homes throughout Vermont. Upon graduating, I continued with building homes in Vermont during the summers and would travel to Colorado for the ski season. In the fall of 2004 I moved to Montana and spent another several years building homes throughout the area. I met my wife in 2005 and moved to Big Sky at that time. In the summer of 2008 I began working for Lilly and Lopker LLC, Double L Construction, as the manager of the Cascade Ridge development, located off of Beehive Dr. in Big Sky. I have continued to grow with the needs of the development and enjoy the project immensely. My wife, Madeleine, and I got married on the Maine coast in June of 2011. We love Big Sky and are proud to call it home. When not working you’ll find me on the ski slopes, hiking with my two yellow labs, or lulling away a summer day on Hebgen Lake.

Russ is a graduate of the University of Virginia, former commercial pilot, Vietnam combat veteran and currently enjoys skiing, hiking, snowmobiling and all that Montana has to offer.
Once again Shawna performed exceptionally. From showing me appropriate properties meeting my specifications to closing the transaction, all was handled in a professional yet caring manner: I really appreciated all of Shawna’s advice throughout the offer/counter offer process. She’s made exceptional efforts in keeping in touch and me informed. This was difficult since during this process I was living in three different places and was traveling back and forth t o Helena.
On a more personal note, this has been a trying time for me and I have really appreciated the friendship and efforts on your behalf. It made it a lot easier.
Once again you made a real estate transaction a pleasant and rewarding experience. I believe Shawna helped me get a good deal that was fair to both parties. Needless to say I will continue to recommend you to people I know that are interested in the Big Sky area.
~ Jim Hoyne
This was my 3rd transaction with Shawna. I initially was recommended to Shawna by Skip Radick, but I returned the 2nd and 3rd times because of how well I was represented and treated. I have faith that whether I was buying or selling I always made a deal for a fair and reasonable price. Shawna has been a pleasure to deal with. She is knowledgeable of the market, and helped me set a price that would enable and encourage a speedy sale. Her service was superb. She always kept me up-to-date on progress, and had great ideas on how much to remodel to get ready for sale. She saved me money and time by helping me to limit my initial remodeling ideas.
Her personal manner is what sets her apart. She is caring and honest. I have enjoyed working with her. It has been fun watching her confidence grow since our first transaction three years ago.
Needless to say I will continue to recommend Shawna most highly. Thank you for all your help.

We want you to know that we think Shawna Winter is terrific as both a person and as our representative. We first came to know her about six months ago under circumstances that can only be described as your proverbial long story.
She is very patient, efficient, well organized: and she has some of the best listening skills I have ever run across. She is always professional and very prepared… a joy to work with. One other of her clients has made the same observations to us about their experience with her.
I was a business center head in for a large national company in New York for more years than I care to admit and I like to think I am a good judge of people with potential to excel. I honestly believe she has “the right stuff.” My husband who does not sprinkle compliments lightly feels the same way.
I suspect you already know this but I want you to know that we, too, think she is a star.

Shawna was not our sales associate on our real estate transaction, but was the seller. She was so much help – providing us with information we needed. When we decide to make another real estate transaction at Big Sky we will definitely call Shawna.
~ Toni Schneider
Shawna’s professionalism kept the negotiations and closing process on track to get the deal done.
